So I don't forget...I'm writing it down.
Cade:
- 8 and 1/2 years old
- loves baseball and is currently playing daily with his brother in the front yard; will only play for the Nats
- still diggin' the Legos and still coming up with all sorts of creations, usually missiles or helicopters or some sort of deadly weapon
- comes to Caroline's room every morning when I get her up and dressed just to see her
Luke:
- 11 years old
- can't get enough of the baseball stats; pretty soon he'll be giving Stephen a run for his money
- a foodie; loves tasty food, but not just sweets; learning to be my menu planner (which is good because I hate that job!)
- has bigger feet than I do and just a few more inches before he's as tall as me (boo-hoo!)
- loves the cat; it's too bad he's allergic and can't hold her as much as he'd like
- 5.5 years old
- is terrified of the cat (75% of the time) and loves the cat (25% of the time); it makes for interesting mornings when the cat is going crazy and racing around the house and Elsa is still in the half-asleep mode
- really likes her math and suffers through reading, but would mostly like to be cutting, coloring with markers, painting or drawing something
- has her first loose tooth! She was ecstatic when she discovered it Sunday, though less so when she realized it might hurt a bit to lose it.
Caroline:
- 2 years old but looks like she's 3 1/2 -- she's so tall!
- loves the kitty!!
- doesn't have a low volume, just high
- favorite song: Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star; she asks for it every nap time and bedtime, and she often walks around singing it herself (totally adorable!)
- loves playing trains (especially Percy), Little People, and Playmobils; she'd love Legos too if we'd let her near them
- has her brothers wrapped around her pinky fingers; Daddy, too
And last of all, because she's a personality in our house too...
Sybil:
- LOVES boxes of all sorts, especially the half-peck box that the peaches came in
- scratches the boys' bedroom door at 4 or 5am (hoping to break this habit soon!!)
- has a talent for catching flies which has come in quite handy this week
- disrupts our read-aloud time by pouncing on the kids' coloring books sending them flying and sending everyone (mostly little girls) into hysterics
- amuses us all when the kids get out the laser pointer and she goes crazy trying to get it
