Canons and cannons

I got a new Canon recently, and I've been shooting with it at every opportunity. It's so much fun, and I'm learning so much too.

Yesterday afternoon one of the boys suggested that we take a little trip to see the cannons.  No shooting involved with these cannons - at least for the last 150 years - but it was fun all the same.

Back Where I Come From...

We spent the weekend in Pennsylvania with my family celebrating my mom's birthday, and I had the opportunity to take some pictures with my new camera (what fun!!).  The weather was incredible, and I was reminded of just how lovely is life in the country.
