I haven't yet listened to any of these talks except for one, but I want to HIGHLY recommend that you check them out here:

If you only have time to listen to one of them, Thabiti Anyabwile's talk entitled Bearing the Image is an EXCELLENT sermon on our often sinful view of race. Listen and be changed in your heart.

At the Farm
Yesterday we enjoyed the 70 degree weather at a local farm which is part of the county park system. We met some friends there, and all of the kids had a good time checking out all of the animals...from sheep and pigs to bunnies and turkeys. After a picnic lunch, the kiddos played together happily under some shade trees while we moms had the opportunity to chat. Of course, my boys came home cruddy with dust and grass-stains, but they had a great time together and were just as happy to play under the trees and climb on the fence as they were in looking at the animals.

Gone Fishin'
Two Funnies
Yesterday as we were leaving the stream after a short fishing expedition in Perry County, Uncle Dan asked Mr. Blue-Eyes if he thought Mom should make some donuts like Kevin Harvick (NASCAR driver)...to which my poor, allergic child quickly responded, "Will they have milk in them?"
This morning during our Bible lesson at breakfast, we learned that God made everything good. We were talking about Creation and how God created the light so we can see His creation. I asked the boys if we could see God, and Boo-Boo said yes. I quickly reminded him that no, we cannot see God because God is a Spirit and doesn't have a body like man. He stood up on the edge of his seat and started patting his bottom, saying, "No bottom!" Well, no, I guess He doesn't have a bottom like Boo-Boo!!
