Hanging up the cleats...

...until next year.

Baseball ends tonight.  And I must say, I'm glad.  This has been a challenging year for us between being pregnant and now having a newborn.  I do enjoy watching the boys play, but I have never really enjoyed the nights of PB&J for dinner (4 nights a week!). So I am glad they are hanging up their cleats now.

Both boys were chosen for the Special Game in their respective levels this year.  Luke has been chosen every year, so it wasn't such a big deal for him.  But this was Cade's first year to play in the Special Game with players from other teams, and he was very excited.

I got a few pictures of Luke's game, but it was tough balancing the camera with the zoom lens attached while holding a nursing baby.  Sooooo...there are just a few as Stephen's train was running late and he missed much of the game.

He did arrive in time for most all of Cade's game, so he was able to take a few more pictures of that one.

Luke played 3rd baseman.

This boy runs like a gazelle!

Cade is second from the right.

He played 2nd baseman.

He's a speedster, too!
