We usually get started the first Monday of August, but since we were in Arizona that week, we held off until the third Monday. We even started AFTER the public schools here...because they start really early. Very different from northern Virginia where they didn't start until after Labor Day and I always felt like we had a good head start.
So here are the first day pictures. We have a 7th grader, a 4th grader, and a 1st grader this year. I feel like a juggler, honestly. But I'm sure things will smooth out in time as we get back into the swing of things.
