Picture Dump...catching up

Well, I am just the absentee blogger, aren't I? Yikes!

This is mostly just a picture dump from my phone covering the last 2.5 months. I did get my real camera out for the Women's Christmas Tea (pics below), but mostly I've been too lazy and have just been snapping pics on the phone.

Here's Caroline and Daddy at Chuck E. Cheese on
Halloween. Yeah, I'm that far behind in posting...

Here is Pappy with about one-fourth of his great-grandkids. The rest weren't
there on Thanksgiving and, therefore, didn't make the picture. Wow -
we really need a picture of him with all of them!!

And...Pappy with grandkids...my brother, sister and me
Elsa has been looking forward to going to the Women's Christmas Tea at church for a while now, and this year she was finally old enough (kindergarten). She learned some lines to recite with the other girls, and she sat at my table and learned how to "take tea." She didn't like the tea at all, even with a bit of sugar in it. But she drank her water and enjoyed the treats. Best of all, it was on her 6th birthday. I bet she'll always remember it. And if she doesn't, I have pictures so I can remind her. :-)
Elsa joined me for the Women's Christmas Tea
this year...on her birthday!

She enjoyed the treats (mostly), but did not like the tea. She stuck
with water...

Then we went home and celebrated her birthday.

The little Strauberries, ready for Christmas!

Christmas with Grammie and Grandpa

Ready for church

A new room for Luke! Baby nursery is gone...the big boy
has moved in! No "after" picture has been taken.
I wasn't sure how it would go moving the girls in together, but so far, so good. The boys are each enjoying having their own space for a time, and the girls like having company.

Caroline was a little excited to open gifts on Christmas!

Another birthday - this one was Cade's 9th. He's asked
for ice cream cake for a few years, and this year
I finally got around to making it. Yum!

And after he finished the ice cream cake, he went downstairs,
took a flying leap onto the beanbag and...missed. He landed
on his knee. Really painful and ugly, but we didn't have to
go to the ER, praise God.
I can't say the new year will improve my blog-posting frequency, but I'll give it a go. :-)
